Yes, not sure about useing COLLINS PEFORMANCE ENGINEERINGS old articles though as a few things have changed since then and I don't mean cars [:u] I have met and spoken to SUE a few times. The site should be a good source of info for both owners and potential owners to check out cars. Or just for enthusiasts to have a look. Ty... If you look at the group photo with the touring car across the front yours is 4th from the left on the front row.

Mark mate wow , cheers for posting this link .. re the i am unsure about using the Collins data , your right things have changed since then , John Collins is now called Sue [:u].. this article was added purely as content and in now way current reference , the reason it was added was the 500 in the pics was my first 500 many years ago  , Collins are still going but these days there more into the ford ST , and mainly concentrate on the Mongoose exhaust side of the company. main current uk tuners are Motorsport developments NMS - Norris Motorsport Automotive unlimited my own car is looked after by Motorsport developments ,second to none IMo . there is now a sister site to the one you Quoted , this new site is a RS500 picture database the cars on there are in build order , i only upload a pic when i have all the information , ie , index chassis and build number when i get all that ,then i get permission to upload and off we go, here is the link. getting back to www.rs500cosworth.com there is a forum attached to the site , on there we have near 100 members , nearly half are rs500 owners from all over the world ,guys please feel free to have a look . this year is the 20th anniversary of the Rs500, this weekend gone we were invited to silverstone By uk MAG Fast Ford, here is a link to some of the pics when we were on a parade lap http://www.imagejb.co.uk/2007/?album=RS500s__Ford_Faircheers all sorry to ramble on . There are some nice cars on the picture site and good to see that the enthusiasm for them is still strong.
Well done for your hard work.
Re: Collins Engineering.
Rather a strange combination a very succesfull engineer with a love of fast cars yet felt he had to become a women. Takes all types.
I have met sue a few times and she is still very knowledgeable and helpful.
Shame this site isn't used for more general chit chat
The white car in the garage in Ty's picture is one of my other cars.

New Home for the Rs500 picture database
on here you will find a pics database where the cars are in build order , this is a no nonsense piece of work and has taken me many years to put together .
gain entry to the owners only section , here you will find all the information you need relating to the rs500 , like holomogation papers , build lists , press releases etc .

4 confirmed to Build number , 1 awaiting id .
to date there are 205 cars in build order , 25 cars awaiting id in the unknown section .
on my personal database i have 326 cars ,so if you know of any and have a pic pass it on , i may have info on it .

Major revamp of the whole site , many pics added , new cars added to the build list , the Tickford page is well worth a visit IMO some never seen before pics on there enjoy guys ..
Ps if you know of any Rs500's tooked away point the owner my way or get some information for me i have over 350 cars on file so chances are i know the cars in question as ive been doing this for over 20 years I've 24 cars currently based over in OZ & NZ.
