BAD NEWS - this forum will be shutting down permanently in early June
Sorry guys. I have lost access to free web hosting and ad revenue does not cover the cost of running the forum. The result of this is that I need to shut the forum down permanently. This includes the SFCC forum too. It's been a blast. This has been running for 24 years!

Early June is the shut down 😭, wish it can be longer so Deano and myself have the cars mostly done..
It is what it is.. sign of the meta times unfortunately. I've been on here since about 2005 I think. It's been a great ride and thank you for keeping it running as long as possible.
Doubt I'll do Facebook, to many ignoramuses on there !!

oh poops, I thought we'd delayed the inevitable.
But thanks for doing you, and providing a forum for the forum over many years.
Enjoy retirement, I hope if we ever cross paths and anyone recognises the van, to say gday.
Yep, Marty is right, I'd have hoped that the van would be done, to give thanks to everyone who has helped with advice, knowledge, support and not to mention spare parts!
Is it likely the papes will be findable again, like with one of those waybackwhen thingos?
Otherwise, anyone want to suggest a way of keeping in touch, otherwise just group emails?

Bummer it was good while it lasted, I will miss all of the valuable information on here, its my go too when I can't find what I'm looking for in my manuals.
...and of course all of you guys💕🤣
Maybe a Classic Ford Refugees thread over on Australian Ford Forums?
I know its a totally different vibe over there but if you stick to the specific sub forums and not the pub and off topic areas the people are generally pretty good.
Just and idea, I'll post a thread if theres any interest.

RIP Douglass Adams. I used to have an RC yacht called Slartibartfast, which I thougth was appropriate for a yacht.
Plus it gave the schoolkid in me a little thumbs up snigger, with the story behind it.

I’m happy to start transferring Capri stuff across. It was a shame we lost a lot of great stuff last time this forum had to change/shed some older content, but I’m hoping to keep as much as what we have here now somewhere.
