Capri door drop [adjustment}

Hi all, The doors on my Capri have always sagged and now after adjusting the latches to align the gaps I have to lift them up to shut. There is movement in the door hinges at the pins. Is it just a matter of putting new hinge pins in to tighten them up? If so are new pins easy to get?  Thanking you PSR.

    PSR, new pins are readily available out of the UK. Not sure if anyone over here has any?
    I have tried opening old pins up a bit, with mixed success. I'll be interested to see if anyone has a 'trade' secret, re-tempering or the like?

    If the door can move up n down by lifting it, the hinge pins could be worn. I use commodore vt-vz hinge roll pins as they've got a flare at one end and galvanized, fitment is good and tight..

    Marty,

    Do you know if the Capri door pins are the same as Mk 1 Escort door pins so I can use VT-VZ door pins in my car?

    Thanks.

    All cars with metal to metal contact should be kept well cleaned & lubed in the Latch, Mechanisms, Hinge and Limit-Strut areas which can in fact make them last many decades longer than without cleaning & lube, as they have done with my Classics since buying my first in 1968

    Chuff , sorry for getting back late with this.
    I can't see why they won't be the same, gtv6capri has already replied saying they fit...
    Ford wouldn't change dies and stampings between cars Cortina, Capri, Escort , early fiesta and possibly Granada .
