RS vs Non RS Seat Mount Heights

Does any know if RS2000 seat rails positions the seats lower than the Non RS2000 seat mounts?

The reason I ask is I have some aftermarket seats installed in my Escort which has the standard non RS2000 mounts and the aftermarket seats sit higher than the original seats. So I would like to know if I remove the current welded-in seat mounts and instead use RS2000 seat mounts/rails, will the seats be positioned lower in the car.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Chuff,
I had to make up some seat mounts  to mate with the proper RS rails, mine were in a pretty bad shape. I measured 120 MM from the floor section to the base of my seats at the rear, and 90 MM at the front, remembering the base is bolted straight into a raised cross member at the front.  Don't know how that compares to an un-molested set of seat mounts. I have Scheels in my RS.
    Cheers, Len

Those measurement should be enough toallow me to compare.
