Wiggy's MK2 2 door

Hi guys,
I thought i'd finally post some pictures up of my mk2 on the website after giving it a wash. Most of you have probably seen it on the "for sale" section on the forum. My future plans are to do some interior work, put in some kind of bucket seats and get the bumperettes and rear bumper chromed. Down the track i also want to get a full respray. Good to see more eskies down south! Sorry about the quality of the pics.

Yep, know the car well as "Old School" used to own it

Good to see it's still kicking and is back on the forum!

    Good luck with the project.

I live in Morphett Vale so you will most probably see me cruising around the Morphett Vale/Reynella areas. I reckon i got a pretty good deal on the car too... the paint is by no means perfect but has came up alright with a bit of meguiars cut and polish.

Sundowner, are you mates with Ben with the blue Capri?

    Cheers, Wiggy

Its been a while since ive posted in this section and to tell you the truth, nothing musch on the car has changed! Although i now have money to spend on it. Can anyone recommend a good panelbeater/spraypainter or interior re-upholsterer in the the southern suburbs of sa?

Ive semi-decided to re-spray the car in black again as it would be too much of a job doing all of the door jams and engine bay. what's peoples opinion on the red bumpers? they are kinda growing on me.

Hopefully i'll have some more progress soon

Sweet ive been spotted finally! i dont live on brodie road, close to it though! i live on a road off flaxmill rd- just up a bit. I'm pretty sure i spotted you in the orange MK2 on brodie the other day?? Small world! There are a few spares that i need mainly interior stuff and a timing belt cover for a 2litre.

To be honest, i have no idea what's with the red bumpers! they were like that when i got the car and i haven't had the time to change them or a comressor+spraygun to paint them. I think they would look ok chrome but i'm toying with the idea of painting them black too. any thoughts?

Have you thought about painting the bumpers in an alloy look paint! that would look pretty good!
