MK1 2 DOOR
I am putting up my MK1 2 door up for sale on ebay on Tuesday but thought I would post it here for a few days first. The details are as follows
1973 MK1 2 door shell only. The body has been professionally blasted and primed ready for repairs. The front guards and front panel have been removed but comes with brand new after market twin cam guards and brand new, after market, round head light front panel with vent holes. There is some corrosion on the inside of the engine bay where is looks like the bettery had leaked at some point. The heater bubble is still there, underneath it looks to be quite clean with only a few small pin holes of rust.
The floors are in really good condition with only very minor rust on the passenger side. I have two bran new, after market sills, the sills on it are clean but have been damaged on both sides by a jack and thought the repair would be easier by simply changing both the sills.
Inside the boot is very clean, just a small amount of rust in the fuel tank pocket, nothing in the spare wheel pocket.
For its age the shell is very clean!
To go with the shell, I have the rear window, rear quarter windows, a bonnet, two extremely clean doors witCh all internals and other small items like the heater, two very clean tail lights etc.
Some other items that will come with the car: Brand new, after market, flocked twin cam dash top Brand new, after market, black twin cam dash pod Two dash vents in very good condition Centre switch panel in very good condition Springalex steering wheel A set of brand new Minilites, imported from the UK, 15 x 8 and 15 x 7 Inner tubs for the rear arches Black top Zetec from a 2006 Focus with 75,000km as a complete motor
Something else I would consider to put in with the package is my Pinto. I don't have full specs on the motor at this stage but it was built for a high powered turbo set up. It is a 205 block, genuine Cosworth Crank with custom pistons and rods. the bottom end is completely done with no expense spared. The head is complete but the cam which has yet to be decided but again no expense was spared with valves, roller rockers etc I also have a brand new custom made turbo manifold to suit running and external waste gate. If anyone is interested I can get of the exact specs on Tuesday when I am back in Sydney. The motor will be sold as is, put together with no cam and no bolt ons.
Any questions call or text any time.
I will upload pictures of everything on Monday afternoon.

This is back on the market, there will be a new ebay listing Sunday night for the same items minus a couple of small things.
I have recently purchased another project, I won't require any of this anymore so everything in the listing must go.
The Pinto will be sold separately.
I will attach the new link when it is put on ebay.

Hi Deano. The whole thing owed me close to 10k. Since the original advert a few months ago, I have a brand new Kent Cam along with everything to get the head finished which will completed the motor itself, bolt ons are the only thing needed from here. I don't expect to get that 10k back, I do have someone looking at it tomorrow and am still open to reasonable offers.

I know this has been on here before and I am positive a few are going to say it's been on ebay a couple of times. BOTH times, I was silly enough to end the auction early and BOTH times the buyer didn't show!!! THE CAR HAS TO GO. I really want to sell it as a package with everything in the advert, I know it is not worth the money on the advert but there is close to 14k worth of really good items here. The body is great, minimal rust and any sections that are damaged or rusted have BRAND NEW items to replace. I want to see this thing go to a good home, with someone who is going to finish it and make it good again. Open to offers! http://www.gumtree.com.au...scort-sedan/1131328734

The Pinto has since been sold and the strut brace has gone back to the original owner. The rest is there ready for someone to come and collect.

Just an update, the car is still for sale. Some of you may have noticed it listed on ebay without two failed auctions. As much as I want the car to go to a good home instead of collecting dust in the garage, I can't seem to get rid of it. The price on Gumtree has been adjusted to $6500.00 firm.
