CA18DET - Mk1 Escort - entire bolt in package virtually NO mods required. absolute bargain
following my expressions of interest thread, I sold the full race CA18DET engine that I had in my Mk1.
the bloke only wanted the motor.

addition edit - The front track of this kit is 1390, i have bubble arches on my escort, it looks damn good. it may be wide on yours if you dont offsett the wheels, or cut the TCA's.
There is room to reduce the track control arms, but this will involve you cutting and rewelding - maybe set you back 200 bucks. (i will not weld them for you).
I still now have all Mk1 Escort suitable bracketry, rack, cross member, exhaust, suspension legs, all bits and bobs, computer / turbo and radiators / intercooler to get a CA18DET into your car, for really
not a lot of money.PLUS - I have a second engine, that I used to mock the layout of everything, that would do to make a full kit again if any one interested, it is not as race, ie- no uprated cams / head work, (all standard "euro" spec head) but still very strong, forged rods / pistons and new bottom end, just no trick head, eitherway, again still very trick and an easy 260-280 proven horsepower out of the box, even have dyno sheets for this one! plus full management system to program to dial it up, conservatively you can easy be near 300 - 340Bhp boost dependant. I challenge you to get that power by spending $6k on your pinto / Xflow!

petrol feed / return for fuel injection system some kind of swirl reservoir and filter system (V easy to do)

you will need nissan patter brake discs and calipers - (maybe set you bak 500 for a tricked out drift set)
