Who has tubbed/flaired their escort

When we start the rebuild, I want to tub/flair my van as we will be using the sr20 rear cradle/diff. And we are  going to try the front end as well. Here's  the spec's if the internet is true
Escort F,1275 R, 1283.
Silvia F  1465.  R,1460
We have permission from the engineer, to do this so we can run the Nissan wheels. Just waiting for Xmas to be other before we start.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear. HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall. TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

    Like the idea of irs, at almost 100mm a side I think that would be too hide under standard forest or tarmac arches

    The engineer said we,can shorten the cradle that holds the diff. So it all comes in the same track as the escort.

    I've mini tubbed my escort. Pretty easy process to unpick the welds on the tub that connects to the arch and then exd it across.  I have pics on my project thread otherwise there are plenty of detailed step by step explanations on the Turbosport forum.

    I put steel Forrest arches on my mk 1 , while searching for cheap power, when I was low on funds five years ago.
    As it turns out, I am now rolling the full front end of a Nissan Sylvia drift car, complete with power steering, adjustable struts (D1spec) and full front end. Adjustable caster/ camber/ bump/rebound the lot. Plus I used a skyline LSD 'd diff at the rear. (4 linked)
    Running fairly low boost while I run it all in only done 500 Kim's. Rolling roaded at 300 horse getting the fuelling ratios sorted.
    Big smiley face.

    All fit (just) under the rims. I've since cut the front back to a little under 1390 and it looks awesome, handles great. Rear I didn't touch.
    Running apexi pro power fc, big turbo / competition clutch, quick shift 5 sp Nissan, and a steel CA18DET motor, ally Inter cooler/ rad all new everything and it is a good fit.

    BUT


    The historic series I want to do this year 2015 will not let me until I go back to pinto.
    There fore I am selling the entire job lot, from the tail shaft forwards.
    It all has been made to pick up existing shell pick up points. Bolt in full mod. Easy as mate.

    for some reason decided to commute in mine the other day, yes, I managed to get her into work in one piece, but, christ, thats no fun, lots of power, comp clutch, race seat, and an hour traffic jam, nerves in tatters when i finally got there!
    race home... sorry drive home was very fun though...
