Tinted laminated windscreen

I have been going through my capri glass and noticed one of my windscreen's has been tinted and laminated by Australian Auto Glass, is there anyway to tell if it is an original laminated Capri windscreen?

Cheers

If it is laminated, it will say so near the Standards markings......
You will also find that at the edge you can feel two distinct layers of glass.
And toughened screens tend to be rather thick in section as well.

And being an old-ish dude, I remember that laminated screens didn't really appear standard in Oz production cars until mid-'70s  (i.e. after Mr Capri was ex-d)....and then as an extra cost option.  How times change........

I think that originally (at least for the first year or so of production) the glass was the English/Ford 'Triple X' glass.

In later years they probably moved to locally produced safety glass (such as 'Armorglass') when they were trying to raise the % of local content, plus I understand they were having issues with English made glass in Australian conditions.
