Dying/ recolouring seatbelts????

Hello all, I have a good unfrayed set of belts for my project but they are a bit faded.... Has anyone tried dying them? Thought i'd ask first, going to need a good colourfast dye, bit worried about getting a black stripe across myself when I finally use them....

    Hi Drew,

Found this article in Unique Cars magazine about contacts for people wanting to restore interior parts. Just so happens that there is a place in WA who refurbishes seatbelts - contact is seatbeltsolutions.com.au PH. 08 9258 3666.  The rear seatbelt on it's way to you is half faded as well!!

    Cheers,

    Len
