For Sale NOW WRECKING !!!! - 4 door RS2000 rolling shell with loads of great parts.

Unfortunately i dont have the space to store 2 toy cars at my place, and given that we are selling my late mothers house (where one of them is stored) i dont have the room, so have come to the conclusion that one of the RS2000's needs to go.
 
This car is a rolling shell that has been blasted back to metal and primed. It comes with a whole bunch of parts and would suit someone who has the time to source the remaining parts required, and the patience to put it all back together.

This is what the car comes with:
 

• A 4 door rolling shell in grey primer. The rolling shell has the steering rack, brake calipers, all doors, bonnet and boot lid. It has rust that will need repairing. Please note the car has a sunroof.
• 1 set of original scheel seats (retrimmed about 4 months ago and not even properly installed yet), with new supporting elastic. There are the correct seat for a 1980 4 door RS2000 with NO recline lever on the side.
• 1 set of rear seats that have also been retrimmed.
• 1 white RS2000 nosecone (excellent condition) with mounting brackets.
• 1 2lt pinto motor with mild work done (motor needs to be put back together). I also have other motors i can talk about with whoever buys this car. Not matching number.
• 1 4 speed original gearbox with original RS2000 short shifter.
• Both side twin headlight assemblies (headlights themselves are not great)
• Both black rubber headlight surrounds.
• Rear bumper bar
• All center console and speedo cluster gear (complete with spare center console making 2 in total) - original RS2000 cluster
• I original RS2000 steering wheel (good condition)
• About 6 or 7 original RS2000 door trims (varying condition with / without speaker holes)
• Excellent condition roof lining (with rods) without sunroof hole
• Good condition roof lining with sunroof hole.
• Brand new rust replacement sections for:
  • Left rear wheel arch
  • Right rear wheel arch
  • Spare wheel well
  • Heater chamber (not bowl - internal section)
• A perfect condition replacement boot floor (zero rust)
• About 3 or 4 spare Mk2 Escort doors (with glass and door trims)
• Radiator
• Door handles (freshly powder coated)
• Spare rear parcel shelf body section (completely unmolested) - Original one in car has speaker holes - Up to you as to wether you replace or not.
• complete sunroof assembly.
• All glasses (door, 1/4, front and rear screens)
• A box of other odds and ends (windows channels, door strikers, indicator lenses, indicator stalks, petrol cap, ford badges etc)
• brake booster
• fuel tank with supporting straps / brackets (sender missing)
• There is NO EXHAUSTwith the car.
• 1 set of 2lt pinto extractors.
• Heater box (core condition unknown)
• Dashpad - needs recovering. Dash doctor in victoria can do this.
• Both compliance plates (matching car details)

 
Im sure there are other parts that i've forgotten to mention, but i think most of the big ticket items are listed.
 
Im throwing it open to reasonable offers for this kit or parts. There are quite a lot of good parts in there, and quite a few rare things that have good value by themsevles. Ive spent a bit of cash getting it all together.
 
As i said, I would love to keep it, and if i had the space i would most definately proceed with the plan as intended to restore it. But unfortunately wiht mum passing away i no longer have the workspace i needed. The one im keeping is an origianl matching numbers RS2000 (one owner) so i figure this can be enjoyed straight away!.
 
Im a really fair bloke, and i do seriously need it gone, but i would prefer if people dont insult me with silly offers. This is a genuine sale but if i cant get any offfers to take the lot (id really love to see it all go to someone who can put it back together and get it going), then ill be forced to part it out, which i really do not want to do. I will put it up on ebay for $2500 and see what happens. The seats alone are worth $800 or more, the motor and gearbox are a good $400, the nosecone has value etc.....

Ive had it listed for a little bit now, but really just need to start getting rid of things, so ive just thrown a bunch of stuff up on ebay with more to come.
