Flooded Capri

Hello fellow Capri tragics
We have had great weather in Brisbane today for Australia Day (ha, ha!) & so my Capri has not ventured out for the usual celebrations.
However, it reminded me of a picture from the Capri Club archives of this Capri (I think it is a 69GT) stranded in the famous 1974 Brisbane floods. It is on Coronation Drive at Toowong. We don't know anything about this vehicle's history so if you can give us any clues, please let me know. Do you think it might have developed a bit of rust?

    Looks like it had an induction scoop fitted to the bonnet
