pinto head studs
Hey guys
I have a SMALL issue with one of the head studs on my engine, I couldnt buy quality spline bits individually so I got a set from repco. It turns out that the bits are probably a little bit on the soft side, by the time I got to the LAST stud it was a bit worn and has damaged the head on the stud a little and im a bit to scared to push my luck with it. Im going to see if I can borrow one from work and have another crack. If it comes down to it do you think tapping a 13mm bit into it would do the trick? what else could be done?

I would replace it that way you know it won't be an issue.
You need to get one of these -

I got mine off the shelf at Bursons or any auto parts joint. Was about $12 from memory.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Matt
