Lovell's V's King Springs

Hi Everyone.
Has anyone gone the way (on 2lt Escort struts) of using Lovells lowered springs?  On the catalogue their lowest version (FFL-13SL) is 45-65mm lower, and the King Springs Low version (KFFL-13) are 25-35mm lower? I'm not sure about that.
On paper, it seems that the Lovells will lower the 20mm extra I want (already have the king Springs in) but was wondering if anyone had done the same?
Any info would be great. Cheers.
Alex

Using King Springs (KFFL-12) will also give you similar results of 20mm lower than (KFFL-13). These are the low version for a capri.
    Hope that helps

Donkeys years ago I used a set of Lovells on the front of my 2lt escort that was doing all road duties, the occasional sprint an regular motorkhanas... This was well before Kings existed and from memory they were 1" lower than standard and a little heavier in poundage but they were perfect for what I was after and those struts were used in 3 of my cars over the years. Quality was good and had no issues - were blue if I remember correctly. (Pedders-red, Kings-yellow and orange I think was White line...) These days Kings are so prolific and relatively cheap too, it would be hard to go past and available straight off the shelf at multiple locations...although I have yet to use them. On my really low escort I have a set of unknown origin 200lb black 2.5" lowered springs I swaped for a set of standard springs years ago, which are a little hard for road use but good for the track. On the Autocross escort I think it has the pedders 1" lowered red spring which also do their job very well too.
