carbon canister and piping to tank

I'm going EFI so am i right in thinking i can bin the carbon canister and piping? The emissions should be better than original any how.
I also need a extra return to the tank for the swirl pot to vent to. Any one know where all the piping goes from around the filler neck? I've removed the guard and theres 4 pipes that go into one.
