Mk1 Tie rod ends for Mk2 struts.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of a tie rod end that has the small fine UNF internal thread of a Mk1 Escort, but the larger taper to suit a Mk2?

I have Mk2 struts in my Mk1, but want to retain my current Mk1 Steering rack.

I have a feeling it may be the 4118S of the Mk2 RS2000?

I have also heard there is a Barina tie rod end that works?

Does anyone have any advice?

You will need to go for a Mk2 Rack, there isnt a tierod end that will do what you need.
