Race sims/Rfactor mods

Howdy,

Well each year during Bathust 1000 I'll prepare my computer for a simulator setup, the last few times using Rfactor V8 mod, and set the computer up with a 42" telly and my logitech G25 for casual racing through the day...
I would like to see if anyone has some good mod packs available for using the Escort Mk2 in Rfactor.
Next part is I might look to build a welded tube setup to mount a race seat, wheel and pedals, so I can nail the driving position. Anyone attempted this before? I'm sure if i search it out on google I may find some instructions...
I used to have 2 wooden simulators setup in bunk configuration, including Jaycar speaker shakers and a glass bottom on the top unit, and real opening doors! Was pretty awesome but going steel tube for this next one.

Cheers,

Rob

    Sounds very interesting,

Not being a gamer, could you post some pics of your setup and maybe some screen shots.

Would be good to see what I am missing out on....

I'm tempted to pull out my G27 with rFactor/rFactor2 (when it comes out) but I need to wheel my computer to my old desk. Just upgraded my comp so wanting to test its performance, that 24GB RAM better of some good use!
