Plumbing on yb (possible stupid question)

I have been plumbing up my car recently and found this below the exhaust manifold

Is this just another breather?

Also whats the best way to setup the water path if not running a heater?

    Hey Luke,

I think mine is threaded and pluged. I think it would be a return to the sump from a catchcan. Im in the throws of painting my engine bay now prepping for the cossie lump.

I havent forgotten about the rollcage. I have just got haome again for 2 weeks if it suits you.

I use it as an additional block breather into my catch can. My catch can doesn't have a return, although I was under the impression that the return for the catch can should be below the oil level.

I don't run a heater and I just have the outlet from the water pump blanked off, along with the outlet next to the coolant temp sensor.

    Cheers,

    Cheers fellas.
Hi Ian give me a call and we can tee up a time that suits if you want.
I was under the same impression Damion that a return should be below oil level. I think i will make it another breather.
That answers the water question to

I would use it as a second breather vent into catch can...the catch can return needs to return below the oil level, you can do so at that fitting but you need to make a special adapter with an extension.
