SOLD 2litre Pinto - Big cam etc SOLD
Item: 2Litre Pinto, 4 speed gearbox, 2 sets of 2litre pinto extractors
Location: Bowral, NSW
Item Condition: Engine has not been run for some time but has been dry stored in our garage with oil in it. Extractors still good just have surface rust, gearbox was running fine with engine but unknown condition. Should be fine. It does has some surface rust so needs a good clean and touch up.
Reason for selling: Not needed. Different engine plans.
Price and price conditions: $300 for engine, $80ea for extractors, Gearbox $80. (for $50 i can deliver/meet anywhere in Sydney or Wollongong)
Extra Info: Engine has quite a decent cam, high compression and headwork. However the exact spec is unknown and has not been run in some time, hence why i'm selling off cheap to fellow small ford fans before i put on ebay.
Ideally I would recommend a complete freshen up and giving the engine a good look over before running, new plugs, cam belt, points etc etc so all the usual things.. and possibly even new gaskets etc and simply a good thorough clean. Engine was running twin webbers which i also have a manifold for as well if required (at extra $160).
The clutch is a 3 puck race clutch which was working but again has been sitting there for a while.
