Escort bits - Nowra NSW
[update] have taken pics off of things that are gone I'm trying to clean things up in the shed and have a pile of things I was going to take to the tip. I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in anything before I chuck them. Used 1300 sump. Grubby but ok. Discs off mk2 2L struts [gone] mk2 axle casing. Is badly cracked around u-bolts. [gone] Carbon canister, a starter that says 180B on it, and a mystery brake booster. Cross member. Not sure what its off (apart from Escort) [taken] Motorcraft distributors. Might be good for bits. [gone] mk2 2L drop tank, straps and filler neck. [gone] mk1 4-door doors. Have door cards, all a little rugged and some dents. mk2 (I think. The yellow ones definitely are 2L ones) springs. [gone] mk2 standard steering wheel [gone] mk1 radiator.

Hey Shep. Not sure on the discs, I'll go measure the width of them and have a closer look. I know the yellow springs are lowered and are meant to be Kings. I was sold them for my mk1, but they turned out to be mk2. Again, I'll go measure them to get the dia and free length. And the fuel tanks, I have no idea. They came with a parts mk2 I bought and they only had a bit of stale left over fuel in them. There are a couple of dents in them but I'd think they're useable. I'll get some more pics of them if you like. Cheers, Pete.

Shep, I measured the discs and they're slightly less than 12mm thick. I'm not sure what width they're meant to be, I'll have a google and see. They're rusty, but don't have any major grooves in them or anything. And the springs are definitely mk2, both ~130mm dia, and both ~255 long. The tanks. The one with no sender has some dents in the bottom of it, and looking inside it's got a bit of surface rust, but not too bad. The one with the sender in it is pretty well straight, but it has had a repair done on it. No idea about the rust in it cause I can't see in, but when shaking it there sounds like a lot of loose something in there. I have some more pics of the tanks, but they're on the camera still.

Here's the extra pics of the fuel tanks. [gone] I've also found some more bits for the pile. 7" headlight sealed beam (still in its original packet ) [gone] Mk2 instrument surround [gone] Mk2 master cylinder [gone] Mk2 door handles [gone] Mk2 handbrake, window winders and fuel filler blank. [gone] Mk2 wiring loom (I think its just the dash and engine bay, but it could be to the back too) [gone] Mk2 2L strut tops and spring caps. [gone]
