1970 Ford Capri Gt UK model

Hi all, the search continues for a V6. however I have found locally a described "1970 Gt English Version".
I understand the only Aussie 4 cylinder Gt was in 1969. the owner says this is a imported GT, and a four cylinder. Does anybody know did they import a 4 cylinder GT. It does have a hump in the bonnet. Waiting to talk to owner to get some more details.
If the did import GT 4 cylinders in 1970 would it be a V4?
Any advice would be appreciated. In particular how to correctly ID, as I assume it would not have a Aussie compliance plate etc.
Thanks

Thanks whooligan, how do I determine if it has an original engine fitted. Should the body number match the engine number? What are the engine codes for imported cars, are they the same as Aussie cars? This car is vermilIon fire, with white trim. Does anybody have a good link to decode these imported engine, paint, trim codes etc. Whooligan any chance you could pm me your phone number and I could ring you for some advice on this. The story behind the car was the original owner wanted the above colour, trim combo and this was not available locally, so a vehicle was imported for the owner in this specifications, does that sound plausible?
    Thanks

The eBay listed one looks like a "facelift" model, the one I am looking at is listed as 1970 and looks like a pre facelift the same as the Aussie MK1, the engine number is JB1859B
    If that helps with identification.

Ok, here is a photo I have of the car.
Still waiting for owner to confirm some details as it a female owner whose husband used to look after the car for her.
Could it just me a standard aussie Mk1, fitted with a V6 bonnet? and painted in english XLR style?
Looks like a nice car, I am really looking for a V6, but this may appeal if it is a little differant then a standard aussie Mk1 (as I already have a nice original green one).
    Any thoughts?
Whooligan do you have a copy of that book?
    Regards

Ok mystery solved. After talking to owners again, the car is a Aussie delivered 1970 deluxe 1600 auto fitted with a V6 bonnet, it does look like a nice car.The owner was informed from previous owners it was a special " English Version GT".

The ongoing search continues for a original GT in good condition.
Once again if anybody knows of any V6 GT, or 1969 GT for sale please let me know, cash waiting for the right car.
