Philip Island Classic

I went down on the Sunday and here's a few snaps I took.

I went down in my Uncle's 1976 Morgan Plus 8.  It was f'n cold but still it was a blast.  It runs the 3.5ltr Rover V8 with straight through exhaust.  Sounds awesome.  We met up with a few other Morgans for breakfast.

Here is the boot of one of the GTR Skylines.  It's a work of art.

And lastly and few shots of the Escort engine bays from the Historic Class.  Checkout the intake manifold design to turn the downdraft manifold into a sidedraft one.

four of us made the trip over from Perth to spectate and all agreed that it was the best few motorsport days we have seen. Philip Island is a stunning circuit and the event is very well run. we took about 1500 pics between us. Hope to be back again nezt year.
