Painted the white bits on my indicator stalks

Hi again all,

Well, I've failed to find another better suited place for this thread, so if a (the?) mod wants to relocate it, go right ahead.

Through the process of just looking at, and mucking arounf with various indicator stalks (and as it turns out wiper / headlight stalk as well) it became apparent that they were different. The general consensus of this forum seemed to think that the "shorter" one, was the rs2000 one, which is good becuase thats what was in my car.

Anyway, wanting to keep it as original as i can, i didnt want to stick the long one in (errrrr......that came out wrong), but at the same time, i wanted to have the white images on them looking good.

I found a NOS one through a seller on ebay, but the price they wanted for it was..............well...........insuting to be honest. So i decided to try my hand at fixing them up myself.

I ordered some super fine model paint brushes, and some white tamiya paint from ebay. Took a stiff shot of scotch to settle the hand and went to work. Im quite happy with the result!. I know it doesnt look brand new, but the fact is they are original, and at a glance look very very well kept.

The images on these stalks were barely visible before i started.

Comments as always, are welcome!.
