They won't be ideal with the standard M/C be it MKI or MKII.
 
You need to fit either a pedal box (preferred) or do away with the booster and fit a properly matched M/C to the firewall.

From my calculations they will be a bolt on replacement for the M16 / 247mm rotr combination found on most escorts etc.

I'm using a 0.625 (5/8) on front and rear.

I'm using the standard Mk2 mc and can't say i've had any issues with them not stopping.
