Hazard lights

How does one wire a hazard light circut in the good old Capri MK 1 GT dash/wire loom?

If only the wife left me, I would have the time to finish the car.

Seek out a wiring diagram from a 3000E hazard lights were an option, the Polish guy sells the switch (which mounts in the console)

Thanks for that, I will look into it. The thought I was having was to use a flasher can to drive 2 relays via a switch, the switched wires from each of the relays would be spliced into the existing left and right indicator circuits. When the switch is in the on possition the can opperates the 2 relays and they in turn opperate the indicators. I was going to use 2 relays so no back feed issues so both circuits are indipendent they just drive the same output.

Kevin at Capri clinic does an off the shelf kit for hazzard lights for the Capri. From memory it is very easy to install, comes with everything you need and instructions.

I've used a switch and relays then went to original round switch that fits under the dash. Using only two relays would mean the hazard wouldn't work with ignition off. Get the original switch or the kit.

    re Capri Clinic....
Put one of his headllight relay kits into my Capri - perfect, simple, all parts included and simple instructions for dummies like me.
Highly recommended, he knows his Capri-stuff (this guy probably dreams Capris...as well as living them when awake !!)
