give me ideas for my new daily
got sick of my soarer. too boaty and too expensive to run...plus i like Escorts more
so i sold up and bought a mk2 4door 1600. pretty well stock, even came with the original owners manual. the body is good, no rust. same with the interior, all pretty clean.
so i have a couple k left over to spend. im thinking
suspension front and rear. (i have 2 liter struts and some better leafs)shocks, bushes and lowered a little bit.
some new wheels and tyres
quickrack
spacer kit in the front calipers for bigger discs.
this is all well and good but its still a stock as a rock 1600, not exactly a powerhouse motor. so here is where i need ideas. im thinking 32/36, extractors & exhaust, maby 1300 pistons?? not looking to go all out ( done that on another 1600) so if anyone has any ideas or parts for sale let me know
alternativly if anyone has a complete motor they are selling let me know.
