VL turbo borg warner USA equivalent vehicle?

Just wanting to know what vehicles in the USA are fitted with the same Borg warner units we have here in OZ? I have a VL turbo 28 spline, same as the R31 Skyline and also earlier falcons like the ED,EF etc. As I am looking into LSD options and need to know specific cars and year models if anyone can help?

Because I think I may have found a much cheaper alternative through Eaton and through Auburn at about a third the price.
From my research I think the VL turbo unit is a 7.5 or 7 5/8" Chev diff with a 10 bolt crown wheel flange and a 28 spline side gears. Does this ring any bells to anyone??

Maybe look at some of the Ford mustangs of the late 80's/early 90's ??

I dont think you will have much luck outside the limited run of firebird models. Some of the info in the link above refers to the smaller b/w diff in 4 cyl cars but there is also some interesting accurate info there.

    Cheers,

    Phil.

Thanks Phil, from all my investigations all I can come up with is that our diffs are unique. They are a 7.75" 28 spline 9 bolt GM borg warner unit. In america they were fitted to firebirds trans am known as F-body cars. The 2004-2006 Holden monaro (pontiac gto) was fitted with one of these centres but obviously in an IRS layout. Harrop modify these aftermarket units made by Eaton called Truetrac (torsen diff) to fit the older live axle setup. For a measly sum of $1540.
So it looks like I will be going with the Kaaz unit.
