Hilux LSD or locker options

I am in the process of building another mk1 rally car and will be using a hilux axle assembly, heavy I know, but it works.

Most opinions are that the std lsd is crap.

Can anyone recommend an alternative, other than welding the centre. Not very nice for turning on corners.

It doen't have to be quiet as this is a dedicated rally car.

Thanks
Craig

a fair few supra lsd's will fit, as well as some newer hiluxs amongst others. You need to look for one to suit a G series diff (quite a few options).

Diff centres are different depending on ratios.
The housings change from say the 3.9 to 4.5's the bearings are different size, so it all depending on your housing.
I would take it to a diff shop.

    Paul and Craig,

My Hilux diff is running a KAAZ Sat3030. I recall that when Eurospeed made the diff up it needed a spacer to make it fit but other than that I dont really have other details.

Hope that tiny snipit of info helps.
