two piece tail shafts

I am putting a pinto into my Capri starting this week it came with every thing from the radiator to the end of the propshaft, the propshaft is a two piece shaft.

The question is are these (the two piece)any good or is it better to get the original single piece shaft modified.I have read on here that there are some people that don't like the two piece shaft.

any thoughts please

The single piece shaft is apparently going to be to long and the plate on the two piece is different to the pinion flange on the diff, also both shafts have non serviceable uni's in them nothing is easy

2 piece shafts are designed to eliminate driveline vibration. The problem is the bearing support wears out and from memory arent available for the Escort which is why almost all now have a single piece shaft.

"from memory arent available for the Escort"

I think these are still available from Yesterford Melbourne.
    Apologies if I am incorrect.
