That looks mint sundowner!

Ive made a custom center console out of mdf as well it will hav 2 gauges in it and 3 will be mounted were the fan controls r it will be getting blanked off and custom metal cups made up to house the gauges

I think there might be picture of my centre console in my build thread im not sure...

i won a ashtray that has been turned into a  holder off ebay, someone has spent some time fitting a universal gauge holder in an old ashtray. maybe you could see if a plastics place could do this or you, 

im happy $61 win

only downside is the aim down a little, i dummy fitted them and id love them too aim up toward the roof a little more, oh well shouldn't complain

**** thats awesome, i could work out away id be happy enough with, so gonna get some gauge holders and put them somewhere that looks neat.. unless you wanna sell me yours sundowner?

Well honestly I haven't try it by my own but i think its not hard as we think. We just need to remove the part from dash which have installed the audio player and then put the gauges in them but I don't know how. But its not impossible to do at home.
