Standard White or Modern White???

I will be painting my Mk2 2dr escort sometime over the next month or so.
It came as white from the factory, so to keep things simple, I am going to paint it white again (DIY).
There are hundreds of shades of white to choose from. I'm undecided if i should paint it standard factory white or choose one of the more modern whites?
As I don't see many Escorts around it is hard to tell if a modern, more vribrant white would look any good?
For those of you that have been around the small ford scene for longer than me, what looks better, standard or modern white?

As white as you can get - base tinter - otherwise will look creamy.

Just repainted my TX3 wheels white ... used the body paint code (1991 Ford Code 'UF') and turned out to be a clean crisp white. Need to do the rest of the car to match now!

I think it would look good and contrast nicely with the black highlights.

I cant speak from experience with the original white though ...

Im with Lincoln, i just did mine (see thread in projects section) and it is straight white tinter.

Its bright as all hell in the sun and i wont have to worry about colour matching down the track.
