mk1 decision

I have 2 mk1 2 door Escorts 1 I have had in the family since new , which requires front guards replacing normal heater bubble floor pan sections both sides and some minor bits in front apron.
The donor car has all these parts i need reason for the purchase , it has had trans tunnel cut out and some floor pan as well it also has had the slam panel in the front cut out but i am starting to wonder which is going to be the best to do up any advise is good advise thanks Matt

Find another shell, preferably a four door, and do both.

he means find another shell ( a 3rd shell ) to cut up for parts ( tunnel, slam panel etc etc ) and then rebuild both of the 2 doors.

do the family car one. replacement panels can be found reasonably cheap and once it is finished you will like the heirloom so much more!

(see twin cam services in Vic for the bulkhead section under the heater bubble)
