Falcon mirror spaces

The spacers for the XA XB XC mirrors does any one know what thickness spacer is needed for the capri, also is it just the thickness or is the spacer tapered ie thicker on the outside then the inside?

thanks John

I'm fairly sure they would be tapered, but they are quite thin anyway. I don't have one that hasn't been fitted to measure, but I may be able to pop out tomorrow morning and check the one on my car - it wouldn't be more than 2-3mm thick on the outside though.

You need the thinnest ones. The mirors when new came with an assortment you simply used whichever you wanted. Now the mirrors and spacers are sold seperately. ** This is assuming that the mirrors are going into the factory position. My 3000E had them retro fitted and uses the medium ones

    Thanks for the information,

Mine had a set on it when a brought it but they had no spaces and jambed on the chrome strip on the top of the door. I put a set of chrome mirrors on but I like the falcon ones and when I saw the spacers I was going to get a set so I can change them if I want to they look crappy with no spacers

The spacers I have on my car are about 1 - 1.5mm thick on the outside and probably 3 - 4mm on the inside.
