Motor Rebuild

Hi everyone,

Listing request here as i need to know of anyone in Sydney that can do a rebuild of a 1500GT pre-crossflow motor presently in a 1964 Consul Capri???

I want to keep it as original as possible but would also like to install electronic ignition at the same time, car has already been converted to negative earth and is running an alternator.

Any ideas would be appreciated.........

Rick.......

    Hi,
Any Engine Reconditioner could do the engine for you.
A GT is only a std 1500 engine with a slighty modifed cam, Two barrel Weber and a bunch of banana extractors.
    Nothing technical at all.
    Les.
