Capri 1600 sump crack repair

Hi all,

Does anyone know an easy way to fix a hairline crack in a sump.
It has been previously repaired with brass welding and has now cracked again

or does anyone have a spare Capri 1600 kent engine sump laying around?

    take it off and get it tig welded.

    I have a Capri sump here. Was in a car with a running engine with no leaks IIRC

    I ack welded mine but then I had time----- and have done heaps of welding--- I used philips 48 --- 2mm --- its still going ---
