Rat Rod 100e

Over the past 18 months I've slowly been gathering parts & modifying
my 100e while I use it. I'm doing it on a strict budget so no fancy paint work yet (& I don't think I will either).
I was thinking of nice compact twin cam & came up with the idea of a G13B. Seeing as it is a nice easy conversion for the Sierra boys turning it to rear wheel drive, pretty much bolt it up to the Sierra box and off you go.
I've acquired an engine with loom, computer and all ancillaries for next to nothing & A 5 speed gearbox for FREE.[:x)]
I've just finished putting MkI corty front struts in with M16 Calipers & a 105e anglia diff and dropped the front a few inches.
I'm not quite ready to do the conversion as yet so in the meantime I will be putting some period solex twin carbs on for a power upgrade[?]
this is when I first acquired it

1st thing was a new interior

Disc brake upgrade

sidevalve

G13B

Gearbox

Progression...

    That look spot on.

    Really like it.

Are the whitewalls inserts or painted?

    Hey mate,
    Love the patina perfect.
Was it a simple conversion with the 105E rear axle as I want to do the same to my patina 100e anglia as I can't stand the original front struts and rear end.
Also the sidevalve and three speed box it just a horrible thing to drive.
What was ford thinking with the ratio from 2nd to 3rd?
    Thanks Tim

Santa was good to me over christmas & got me this front end kit for the ole girl plus a coil over kit for my 2L struts, pity he forgot the anti tramp bars & adjustable shocks guess I'll have to get them myself.

As of today I have a wiring diagram for the GTI, so it will be all systems go shortley.

    Also acquired a windshield visor,

change of plans, sold all the suzuki stuff going to avoid the engineers & put a 997 anglia engine & gearbox in her as the last of the 100e's had Anglia running gear. whilst out I'm going to make the engine bay nice & shiny
