Smiths gauges

Are they still making them ? or are they out of business.If they are what can you recommend,i looked at some at speco ones at repco today. And they looked cheap. and expensive for none oil filled ones.[V]

    Yes, they still make them, if you are after period items you can look here at the reproductions.

    Occasionally they pop up on eBay aswell. I picked up a nice chronometric tachometer for not too much recently

    I have had some smiths ones reworked at Howard Instruments in West Heidelburg, in Melbourne, they had a range of reconditioned ones, and also could get you new

    Redline still sells them, I think I can still get them through work, you mean the black face white writing ones yer? PM me if you want prices and Ill check it out tomorrow.
