Gear Shift Boot

Hi Guys,

Trying to find a Vinyl/Leather gear level cover to suit Escort Mk2 Console. Can any one recommend a "off the Shelf Version".

Thanks,

John

It's not a bad idea Sterling, I used to have a manual BA and the boot in them are attached to an outer ring and by removing the ring there is probabally enough boot to retro fit it into the escort.

That one on ebay looks good, were the uk console's different? but there again I suppose the hole would be about the same size.

I just used an autotechnica one from autobarn, cost bugger all and looks like a standard one.

Looks good wiery, did you have to use the cable tie to get it tight around the shaft?

Comes with cable tie, could use something else that may look better. I might try to tuck it into boot to hide.
