conrtol arms

Hi everyone, after a rebuild on teh race car's suspension have come across a bit of a problem. When i went to tighten op the ball joint to the strut the end just turns with the nut, so basically i can't tighten it up. Other side was fine, not too sure what's gone wrong.

If anyone knows what's going on, please let me know.

Cheers

The taper is not seated, so jack up under the control arm to seat the taper, then nut should tighten.

If the balljoint pin turned with the nut thats also an indication that the ball joint is worn,at least in the early stages of failure
