Haunted Hills Hillclimb

On the 19th of June the Historic Rally Association ,is running a Hill Climb at Bryant Park, Haunted Hills, Bill Schulz Drive, Yallourn in the Latrobe Valley. The event will get underway at about midday and finish at around 7pm. It is pretty low key club event, and we are offering, on a first come first served basis, 10 spots out of the 50 available to non club members. It would be a great event to give your classic Ford a run, we already have a mk1 and mk2 cortinas entered as well as a mk1 BDA Escort.

Catering will be available on the day, and with a maximum field size of 50 cars, competitors should get in at least 6 runs on the demanding and twisty layout. As we are planning on having at leat one run after dark, some form of lighting on your car may be an advantage.

The event will be run like an autocross on bitumen, with scrutiny in the morning, followed by some low speed “follow the leader” laps, then timed runs.

The supp regs list the car scrutiny requirements, and you’ll also need your helmet.

come on James, That would be very irresponsible to drive "enthusiastically" on those Gippsland roads, thats why we run hillclimbs and such, so that you can get your speed fix. You should come for a run, only $100. should be a great day. cheers Ted
