V6 Air Filter

I have just replaced my Holley with the original Weber. Anyone got any ideas as to which non original air filter is best?

ie 9" round, vs oval ,vs square?

Since your using the weber have you thought about using the original filter housing? To solve any air flow restriction a row of holes around the filter housing should do the trick. That way a factory look can be retained.[^]

The original air cleaner element is no longer supplied by Ryco. However K&N do a washable filter not sure if they are available here, but are in the UK for about 30 pounds

Not too concerned about originality so decided on 9" round for max filter area.
    Thanks

How much does it hit by? could you space it up a little? pics might help. i use a rectangle k&n knock off on my 2LT witha 32/36 weber but i went with a 2 1/2 height filter instead of a 2 inch. O
