my capri on E-bay

Guys,

i have put my Capri on E-bay. Its a good honest car which i have owned for a long time. It is only a 4cyl. It's hard to come up with a price it is worth. I was offered this price before for it tho' so i'm thinking its fair - i know the market for 4cyl isnt very big, but neither do i just want to give away 20yrs of graft - any thoughts ?

If someone was to buy a wreck they would struggle to restore it for the price you want so I think your price is fine - just depends if there's anyone looking for a capri at the moment. Would be a shame to give it away cheap after 20 years. Good luck!

Before I took up capri building as a hobby I spent about thirty years doing off road motorcycling. This would cost me about 5g a year.Apart from the sale of each bike I never got any of the money back so what price to allow for 20 years of capri enjoyment?
Not taking anyhing away from that capri it looks like a good one. Reasonably priced. But the real value (the enjoyment) you will keep with you forever.

Looks like a nice car . I guess we will all wait to see what happens to get a gauge of the current market price.

Well done but yes it can be a rough time.

One of my worst days was watching the new owner drive my first capri away - but even worse was a few months later when I found it in a wreckers yard - but I was able to buy some of the good stuff back.

I hope it has gone to a good home.
