my roadworthy mechanic approved mine, and so did vicroads, and they are off the shelf autotechnica ones, which also are "ADR approved"

just make the way that u mount them neat, and they wont look into how youve done it. the way mine were mounted wasn't checked at all

Dont know what state you are located in but in Vic as long as the seats are ADR approved and are mounted using the FACTORY floor mountings e.g. dont go drilling your own holes in the floor they are ok.

You MUST have reclining seats in a 2 door car, oherwise you will have to remove the rear seat and register it as a 2 seater.

There are guidelines regarding mounting points/size etc.
