63 Mk 1 Cortina 2-door 2L 5-speed - in SA
Hi Guys,
The time has come to sell my beloved Mk 1 Cortina. For personal but very genuine reasons I am letting the little beast go. Some of you know the car, and some may not. It's been featured many times in Classic Ford Magazine, and Street Fords magazine.

Body; Basically standard 1963 Mk 1 Cortina Consul, paint in clean and fair condition, alloy drivers side Bullet mirror, slight enlarging of the front of the rear wheel opening section, Mk 1 Escort van rear bumperette’s, standard - straight and clean lights + trims, doors are straight and have very minor lower rust, bonnet has minor leading edge rust, boot has centre dint (a spare straight unpainted one comes with the car), rear window’s pop out, slight dint in LH rear quarter panel, wheel arch lips have some slight surface rust, LH rear wheel arch has crust and rust coming through, both outer sill panels have some rust bubbles, LH front chassis leg has minor rust, drivers side A-pillar has minor rust, RH roof channel has minor rust, engine cross member has been professionally braced to accommodate the 2L engine.
Color – Ermine white with Sherwood green flash (Lotus colors)

*NOTE – This engine was rebuilt by JS Racing in Adelaide in 1996(have receipts), and had all new components fitted throughout, including installation of a mild/reground camshaft, and fully reconditioned cylinder head. The engine also features a large capacity H/E sump.
The engine had been dynoed a number of times with the best reading recorded – 80.2 rear wheel HP (dyno sheets available)
