Help With Steering Rack

Hey guys, i went to get a wheel alignment and they told me i may need a new steering rack or rack ends. The wheels have a bit of movement in them on both sides. How do i know if it's the rack or rack ends?

    there are plastic cups on the rack ends putting it simply, they would have mostly worn out
    you can replace them with a metal bush, I was lucky to get a few sets from Pedders when they stopped rallying their Escorts

    I have seen / heard others talk about these being available now
