I want to book a track

Im thinking that if enough of us can get together and put our hands in our pockets to, well put simply have our track day
im thinking WSID or eastern creek as a circuit but to make it interesting invite one or two other clubs for example a datto club of the same era s the Escorts and so on.
so im happy to organise it but would like to know who would put their hands in their pockets and who is genuine so that i can talk to the track and organise.
I have done this already with another car club that im a member of and we have had a blast and will organise another soon, but i was also thinking that all makes and models could also be invited just so that all can have fun
ANY IDEAS OR INPUT

Cosmic, pretty sure the Small Ford Club in Sydney are planning another track day at the Marulan Driver Training Circut, I spectated in 2009 and vowed to attend 2010, but the first event in the series im competing in this year is on that weekend too, pretty sure the plan was for 20th March. I posted pics of the last one so you can find it under MDTC in the coming events.

    Hi Cosmic,

You need to be a member which is easily arranged, then its $120 payed by the Febuary club meeting to secure your place

    Cheers,

    Hey PHIL

please pm me the details and particulars to membership and the track day too.
But i will BIN The track day idea as per the lack of interest, but without sounding rude id like to say to the other members on here that it would of could of and been a great day to throw and thrash your car with out having to worry about the blue and red lights pulling you over and also alot of these tracks need our support as they are now a dieing breed just like Oran park which is making way to developement, so id hate to say i told you so when you get the itch.

There is plenty of ways to get track time, Supersprints are great and dont cost the earth, and you get official lap times out of it! Also practice days are great. You dont need to hire the track at all.
if you join the ARDC you can do eastern creek, for next to nix,(120 last time I asked about a practice day) You will need to be a member of a cams affiliated club, like ardc or the Small ford car club of NSW. and pay 100 to cams for a year long l2speed licence that you can use for all sorts of events. so support the tracks, the cams federation and the clubs.
Wakefield is always an option too.
