Haks '60 Anglia

Here's some pics of my Anglia. Nothing much doing with it at the moment. Houses and kids are getting in the way of any shed time at the moment.

First time in the sun in 20 years

Big 997 donk.

Came with boxes of bits. Going to be a nice jigsaw to put back together.

And that's about where its at. Plan is to get the old cracked and half removed paint off it. Get a fresh coat on it. Then start putting it back together. I'll keep the old 997 engine and just run it around like that. Eventually.

I hope all the bits are there too There is no grille, so I'll have to hunt one of those up eventually.

Hey PJ. The sticker looks like a Koni one. But says something like "Proven". I'll have to check it out tomorrow to see what it actually says. Just going by the photo at the moment.

The rear shocks that were it the box are to get rid of the lever arms. I'm not sure if all the other bits for the conversion are there as well. And the Spax shocks in the box might also be no good after all these years.

Nice looking project Peter, if it turns out half as nice as your Esky it'll be a cracker.

My Anglia started out pretty much the same, It's still only half way, you've got many a happy hour ahead of you yet! Mine's missing it's grille and some mouldings, have you found any source of such parts yet?
