mk2 vents in a mk1?
ive been inform that mk2 dash vents fit in a mk1 well i pulled some out and tryed to day yes they fit but how do you lock then in they just seem to sit there loss is there somthing im missing?

when i did mine i just put the mk2 vents up from the bottom through the hole and screwed the outer surround on.looked and worked as if it was meant to be there.

cut the mk2 vents where the angle starts so its straight.then put it up from under the dash into the vent holes and screw the outer ring on.its as good as a factory fit.no silican.

Hey all, iam also looking at putting mk2 vents in my mk1, i know this may sould a little stupid as there only airvents but would some1 b able 2 post a pic of some fitted.
