My projects

I have been on here a while now. Thought I would share some pics of my projects first one is my Galant it runs a 2.6 astron with a to4s and tial 44mm gate custom manifold and blah blah blah. It has run as quick as 11.1@121mph 21psi with prvious set-up now has 300hp@wheels @18psi. I have only raced it on 14.7psi and on the second pass it went 11.8@115mph 1.7 60" then the third pass it snapped an axle. I have now replaced the axles with billet mosers and a full spool so hopefully it will not break again.

Motor is basic just well built it runs stock rods, crank and cast pistons, balanced, studded top and bottom end, well designed cam, m6 magna head which is the best of them (brand new casting), grout filled block, coopers rings in the block, 870cc siemens injectors, modified magna intake, xf throttle body, microtech computer, all machining was done by APM in albion park. The motor was assembled by Paul Testa who also does all my fabrication for me his galant has run as quick as 9.1@145 with plenty more to come. These motors are very under rated once you address a few small problem areas they are very reliable. I rev it to 7500 and it makes power all the way even through the auto it is a lot of fun to drive still scares the poo out of me whenever I take it for a cruise.

That is tempting but the mk2 4dr that I have just aquired will be getting a carby pinto set-up had enough of turbo's for the time being. And that car is actually registered as a 2.6 turbo not a 2lt like the rest of them as it was built in 92 before the capacity laws came in.
