Thanks mate, loving your 64 !! that color is killer! (what is it?-im thinking of a similar red for mine) ...cant wait 2 see pics of yours w/ the cossie! ...still bet it went like stink w/ the SR though! ...The GT will have a setback 347 windsor, T5 trans, 8" rear, full cage, big brakes, rack n pinion, 15's etc etc...will be more of a track car but still rego'd (much easier to get away w/ in California then back home!)

Hey Paul, the Old Cortina is still looking good in Darwin. I've changed a few things like RS2000 seats; centre console, carpet and changed the rocker cover for one that does'nt leak. Picked a couple of trophies along the way. It does a mean lap around Hidden Valley as well. Hope things are going well for you in the US of A.

Hi Paul, the old blue beast got me distrated from the Mk1 Escorts for a while. I bought a 63 Lotus replica, but it needs a lot of work. Its got a newly reconditioned Lotus engine and close ratio gearbox. For what I paid for it I got the body and running gear for nothing. I would be keen to see some picutes of your progress. Lots of people comment on the paint job on the old girl. It is standing the test of time. Have a nice "Holiday Season".

Zombie - DUDE! Leave the paint on the red car AS IS!
It's aneat period looking ride - preserve the 'survivor' characteristics of the beast! A killer set of 15s, V8 and all the fruit would make it with that exterior simply mind blowing!
Either way you cars are a credit to you, and I love them long time - In that unique and slightly weird Australasian way of course[;^)]
RJ
P.S. - IS that a Falcon 2 door Sprint behind the Red Mk 1? If it is I just blow a main seal in my pants - those things are unreal[:u]

Yeah Id love to keep it like that xcept here when you do open track (club sprints) the club im in (Cobra owners Club OC) are anal about paint and presentation, seems the cobra dudes dont like being whipped by sh!tty looking cars! My mate was told to clean up his falcon or he wouldn't be allowed to run next time! quote: Originally posted by racin jason [br]Zombie - DUDE! Leave the paint on the red car AS IS!

Hi Paul, I'll have to give the old girl a bit of a scrub up first. Then I'll have to master the technology. I think your present Cortina would look nice in the Alan Mann livery. Regards Eric
